The McDonald team was well prepared from the time that initial planning of the waterline tap from the mainline to the actual hookup. Saving our well for landscape irrigation and our water softening system for inside use was “standard business” for the McDonald team. The technicians were prompt, courteous, professional and kept us well informed at every step of the project. The inside work was neat and tidy and our home and carpeting was as clean upon completion as it was before they started. Directional boring from the street main into our mechanicals room was relatively quick and uneventful. Because of the winter months (February) they assured me that they would be back in the spring to restore our front yard to its original condition. I highly recommend McDonald Plumbing!

Called McDonald Plumbing emergency line at 8:30pm, discussed leak in value connecting to dishwasher that we were replacing. Appt setup 8:00am following morning with Austin, who was very service oriented, very polite and most of all very knowledgeable. Value replaced, dishwasher installed… focused on the job at hand and interactive with questions we had about other issues. Recommend highly!!! Thank you Austin.

5 stars for honest & trustworthy advice & work. It is so hard to find honest, skilled and knowledgeable people nowadays but that is exactly what you will find with McDonald plumbing. Michael B, Kevin and Josh have all been excellent and explain everything very well. McDonald plumbing has helped us a few times in the last month to work on our newly purchased/current home and our previous home we are selling (washer machine leaked in our new home and we had them inspect/replace our hot water heater at our previous home due to the age as it was said to be in great working order but the buyers wanted it replaced as well as service the sewer lines). We have used them previously as well including when we replaced our kitchen sink. Whenever we call they are friendly, helpful and have someone to us within a day. Will continue to call McDonald for any of our future needs due to the professional service and knowledgable team.

So far excellent service. From the extremely knowledgeable estimator Don to the experienced crew that arrived and completed a massive job of sewer and water line replacement all in one (long for them) day. Always willing to answer questions. A happy hard working crew! I recommend McDonald’s.

Our problem was solved quickly, and Tyler was a great communicator and a pleasure to work with. Initially it looked like we needed a new pump, but he took the pump apart and found that there was just some TP stuck in a float switch, so that saved us replacing a pump that is otherwise in good condition. We appreciate his skill and candor!

My kitchen sink was clogged for 3 months. We lived like campers because I was afraid of an astronomical plumbing bill. I finally saved up enough to call for help. A different company didn't even do anything, they charged me $68 just to stand there and say they couldn't fix it. They recommended jetting the drain and mentioned initial fees of over $500 to 1500 dollars and replacing pipes. I cried. Then I called McDonald Plumbing. The lady on the phone was so kind and helpful. She scheduled me for the next day and Tyler V came to my home. He was so friendly and didn't judge my crazy feelings about the sink. He easily gave me a beyond reasonable fee and fixed my sink so quickly! I have never been so excited to wash dishes in my life. Mcdonald Plumbing saved the day!

McDonald handled the private side of our lead line replacement for the city of Grand Rapids and did an outstanding job from start to finish. Excellent and prompt communication and scheduling, quick and quality work in the house and prompt and punctual arrival time. I can't say enough good things about our experience with McDonald, highest recommendation.

We are very pleased with our experience with McDonald Plumbing! They replaced our main sewer line. They finished the job within a day. We received 4 different quotes for our big project. They provided us with the best plan of action and most affordable pricing (by far) for a complete repair.
